I have a simple little idea I've wanted to try in JS + SVG for a while. I was thinking of entering into the 13k JS contest, but maybe I'll do both. Depends on how far I get on the plan ride home tomorrow. Wink

I made an attempt and gave up after about 4 hours of work.

Protips that might have saved me:

* Joy.js is a shitty JS game framework.
* Quintus is a great JS game framework.
* Make something that actually sounds fun and not just like a chore.

I never actually entered, but I did make this:

You are trying to make the snake fill the game board. Click somewhere to start. The orange arrows tell you which directions you can move in. Click a direction to move the snake forward until you hit a wall. If there is only one direction the snake can move in, it will pick it automatically.

I didn't quite finish it. It's currently hardcoded to pick from the medium difficultly levels, and it resets the level whether you finish it by filling the area or if you get stuck and can't make any more moves.

I learned that SVG rendering is *terribly* slow on mobile devices.

That's a lot of fun! Really enjoyed playing it, super simple concept but lots to do with it.
