Questions on cell phones - Carlos Camacho - Dec 23, 2008 08:47 AM Has anyone here used a service to sell (get out) of a cell phone contract? Also, I find that me and my wife hardly use our phones, yet we still end up paying $99 a month. I'm considering going with a pay-as-you-go cheap phone. Any recommendations or thoughts? Thanks, Questions on cell phones - EvolPenguin - Dec 23, 2008 10:24 AM The best general pay-as-you-go service is T-Mobile's, in overall value. If you want to discuss some different ones, talk to me on AIM, I've looked into a bunch recently and know the details of pretty much all of them. As for getting out of your plan, I dunno. Alex Questions on cell phones - Carlos Camacho - Dec 24, 2008 08:18 AM Can I keep my ATT number even if I switch to a pay-as-you-go service? I know you can when you just switched carriers. Questions on cell phones - EvolPenguin - Dec 24, 2008 09:37 AM I'm pretty sure no, but that wasn't something I was looking for when I was checking them out. Alex Questions on cell phones - funkboy - Dec 24, 2008 10:56 AM ...if you can afford it, iPhone it up. Questions on cell phones - EvolPenguin - Dec 24, 2008 09:10 PM I believe you can only get the iPhone pay-as-you-go if your credit check fails. Alex |
