Sarah Palin prank - Najdorf - Nov 1, 2008 06:37 PM

Ok, this is pretty unrelated to everything but hey since Dan Lurie is not posting here anymore I'll take up his role this time.

A couple of Quebec comedians pranks Sarah Palin pretending to be France's president Sarkozy.

Yay politics. Personally I can't wait until this whole thing is over.

Man, no kidding! We're being slammed by politics in the media here in the US. Even the Palin prank was well covered on national news too. Yay politics.

This is more about the joke than politics from my point of view. But then I'm not american.
Are you guys voting at all?

You really couldn't believe how saturated the US media is with campaign coverage right now. It is *really* bad. I just turned on the tube for the morning news over breakfast and it was all Palin speech on every major channel, and headline was on campaign news. Switched the channel to History and got a campaign ad.... click ... open the newspaper instead... campaign coverage on the front page. Seriously, my political sense of humor is pretty shot right now. I even took down my calender which counts down the days remaining of Bush in office. ... yes, it's that bad.

[edit]Only 78 days left BTW...

As of late there's been really no difference between humor and spin. In general I love joking about politics but it's gotten to the point here where I just can't take it anymore. I'm completely burned out.

Heh, I missed being able to vote by like three months. I wish the voting age were higher, though; listening to people in my history class talk about who they're going to vote for and why is sickening: you can tell they're just going with the flow Annoyed

That's the way a large percentage of adults reason out their vote as well, so you might as well get used to that queazy feeling. Wink
