NDA gone for Reals - kodex - Oct 23, 2008 09:31 PM Upon logging into http://developer.apple.com/iphone you will be prompted to sign the new iPhone NDA. They have also added a forum for NDA signers only to discuss programing on the iPhone https://devforums.apple.com/community/iphone NDA gone for Reals - kelvin - Oct 23, 2008 09:35 PM Yay! Now I party in Vegas. NDA gone for Reals - EvolPenguin - Oct 23, 2008 11:24 PM Awesome! So now what does it mean? We can talk to other people who signed the NDA? But only those people? Alex NDA gone for Reals - SethWillits - Oct 23, 2008 11:50 PM The agreement now only covers prerelease SDK software and documentation, etc. You can speak freely to anyone about any non-pre-release SDK items. NDA gone for Reals - EvolPenguin - Oct 24, 2008 06:31 AM Ok, makes sense. I was just confused as to why the forum was for developers who signed the NDA. I guess that's to limit the possibility of a discussion of pre-release items with someone else. Alex NDA gone for Reals - SethWillits - Oct 24, 2008 12:40 PM Yeah, and it'd be a little pointless for people who don't have the SDK to be part of the discussion. It's a noise killer too, I guess. Now if only it would actually let ME in, I'd be happy. (I am in the program and it says I'm not.) NDA gone for Reals - OneSadCookie - Oct 24, 2008 01:02 PM You can get the SDK without being a paid program member... NDA gone for Reals - SethWillits - Oct 24, 2008 03:58 PM You have to sign the NDA to get the SDK. The forums seem to actually be limited to people in the *program*, not people who simply have signed the NDA. NDA gone for Reals - OneSadCookie - Oct 24, 2008 05:23 PM Precisely. |
