GLFW issue - Adamal - Dec 22, 2005 02:02 PM
I'm having an issue with GLFW on Mac OS X. I compiled the Tutorial 1 from the website (glfw.sf.net) and when I ran the application it creates the window but the window acts locked up. The Window will not take focus, resize, or move. Does anyone have any suggestions to why this might be happening?

Did you make an application bundle? Applications without bundles can't take focus.
The examples in the distribution come with a Makefile which creates bundles appropriately.

I don't even know what an application bundle is, so I guess the answer would be no. I'll look into it. This is my first time developing non-java apps for the Mac so I knew I'd be forced to ask stupid questions like this. Thanks so much for your help.

Adamal, control-click on the application; if it the menu option "Show Package Contents" is present in the menu which pops-up, the application is a bundle.

Creating the application bundle solved it. Thanks.
