Wings3D - Alexander Smith - Nov 1, 2005 06:07 AM I know this is a little off topic, but the Wings3D forum looks awful, and I thought I would get a better answer here: How do I get a model ready for UV mapping? And how to I import textures to use on my model? BTW To all those who have used Wings3D, being a Meshwork guy myself, I want to say that Wings3D is AWSOME! I used to have a lot of trouble figuring out how to model stuff, but then I realized that your intire power came from your right click, now I'm modeling guns and chaingun turrets and everything? Wings3D - KittyMac - Nov 1, 2005 06:34 AM I found these two pages very useful: http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/wiki/HowTo:Texture_in_Wings3d http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/wiki/HowTo:Create_Ships_in_Wings3D I'm also a Wings3D believer now... it kicks butt in single mesh modelling and UV mapping!
