does anyone know where a good apple tiff/png type more than 400 X 400 pixels?

Select a font and type option & (1 on qwerty keyboards) and you should see an apple like this 
Set the size of it to what you want.

I didn't know there were so many rules!
"You cannot change the font"
if the image is altered, then technically it is not copyrighted, no?
"Since the switch over to Mac OS X is complete, the "Built for Mac OS X" log is not needed anymore"
I still see those around, besides, they look cool.
Can I use the Apple Logo for Graphic Arts reasons? (IE backgrounds, skins, etc.)
that's my two Turkish Lyra.

Well, for my game HeadBreaker, I had a little fun with the initial picture:
I wanted to add that as a bonus but I thought Apple wouldn't have liked that

Hey Taxxodium, did you apply some sort of filter or used a plug-in to create the aqua look? The Photoshop tutorials I found on the web are really lame, the results don't come close to yours.

I used the standard filters when you double click on a layer. To be more precise I used: Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Outer Glow, Bevel and Emboss, Contour and Color Overlay.
Just play around with the settings, make sure your angle is 90° and don't use global light. Also the transparancy is done by playing with the Blending Options.
