Does anyone know how muzzle flashes like this one at http://3phates.3dup.net/00001.jpg in Photoshop? I need muzzle flashes like that for my current game.
Or if you know of any resource online with royalty-free muzzle flash/explosion graphics.

Also, this forum thread might be of interest to you for the programming side of things (although perhaps not if you need a 2D muzzle flash for a 2D game....)
