website for submitting an app - Bommbomm - Apr 24, 2011 05:46 PM Hi all, I've finished developing my first app for iphone and i'm getting ready to submit it to Apple store. But before i pay the fee and enroll to the iOS developer program, i want to clarify one thing: if i register as an individual developer, do i must have a supporting website/URL before i can submit my app to Apple store? Thanks in advance RE: website for submitting an app - SethWillits - Apr 25, 2011 12:27 PM I remember it not being required. RE: website for submitting an app - gnurf - Apr 27, 2011 10:59 AM They don't even look from what I've noticed. There used to be a requirement of some sort, but it might have been the requirement to have some content on a webpage *if* you supply it. RE: website for submitting an app - bdsowers - Jul 4, 2011 03:03 PM When submitting, they ask for two URL's: Support URL (required) App URL (optional) Whether they actually look at these sites, I don't know. Their naming is a little strange, though. In iTunes, the "Support URL" will show up as "Your_Game_Name Support" and "App URL" will show up as "Your_Company_Name Web Site" |
