website for submitting an app - Bommbomm - Apr 24, 2011 05:46 PM
I've finished developing my first app for iphone and i'm getting ready to submit it to Apple store. But before i pay the fee and enroll to the iOS developer program, i want to clarify one thing:
if i register as an individual developer, do i must have a supporting website/URL before i can submit my app to Apple store?
Thanks in advance

I remember it not being required.

They don't even look from what I've noticed. There used to be a requirement of some sort, but it might have been the requirement to have some content on a webpage *if* you supply it.

When submitting, they ask for two URL's:
Support URL (required)
App URL (optional)
Whether they actually look at these sites, I don't know.
Their naming is a little strange, though. In iTunes, the "Support URL" will show up as "Your_Game_Name Support" and "App URL" will show up as "Your_Company_Name Web Site"
