Tracking Multiple Touches

Hi,

I'm writing some code that relies on tracking multiple touch events and wondered if there was an easy way of tracking whether event b is a continuation of event a or not?

Do I simply compare the previous location of the event I am testing with the location of all the last events and if they match assume there's a continuation? Or is there a more elegant solution that's actually built into the APIs 'cos I can't seem to find one!

cheers
