Mouse dead after wake up

Is it a bug in Mac OS X that after wake-up, the mouse doesn't move? I need to unplug it each time to get it to work.

I had the same issue, what I did is make sure my external keyboard was connected to my MacBook, not to my USB hub. Now it works fine.

had the same problem with a USB hub on my 1st gen MacBook Pro.
unplugging and replugging the hub worked.

Hrm I currently have my externals in a HUB with no such problem.

The machine does not run without the coin.
