I don't know about the books but I can tell you that the development tools are free from Apple. That is the only environment you can use for iPhone development.

It seems dazzling but i wonder how much truth is in this?
My aim is to develop Zuma style games.
I am experienced developer. I develop drivers for windows. However, I never developed such games. I wonder what will it take to do that and actually do that
