I'll likely be going (for the first time)! yay!

I would absolutely love to attend this, but airfare, hotel, transportation, meals, and the hefty $1295 ($1395?) entrace fee is making me think twice (times one hundred) about attending. Although being able to make it to CA would be awesome.

I've applied for the scholarship, so if I win that I'll be attending my first WWDC ever. Even if I don't get the scholarship I'm considering it, it would be a good excuse to go on vacation for a week

I'm still on the fence... can anybody convince me and push me over?
I have one idea that could really benefit from meeting a lot of developers... so maybe if I spend money on the ticket, that would get me to get off my butt and make this idea reality.

funkboy: You're going to shoot us with tranq darts and steal our code?
