Hosting
Some of you may have noticed that the disk image download of 'Boston' as hosted on my server(http://binkworks.com/) is messed up. Under normal circumstances, I would google around to look for a solution, but I have a ton of stuff to do to Boston, and don't have enough time to finish the game and figure out what the problem with my server setup is.
So my question is, can anyone suggest a free hosting service to host the DMG temporarily until after the end of the contest? I'm using MediaFire, but that requires several redirects and I'd prefer to have a direct link.
Alternatively, can I put up a zipped disk image(My server likes .zip)?(I'd prefer this approach, but don't know that it's legal.

"The source submission should be archived in a compressed read-only Mac OS X Disk Image (dmg) file."
You can zip the dmg, that should safisfy "the law" according to certain interpretations.

I assumed that that was referring to the disk image compression itself.

Sorry about that.
You could also ask EvolPenguin, who is hosting a mirror of gw0rp. He might have extra space.

You said it.
So is this for the source or the game.
Zip is a universal download format, its built into the OS.
Dmg is not, and it requires mounting on the desktop.
I don't see the point of giving users 20 zip files that turn into another 20 dmgs, that then turn into 20 game apps,
plus the read me, plus the license, plus the udg read me and some
web links and now you are approaching hundreds of files dumped on their machines.
Two of which they are going to most likely trash, multiplied by the number of games they download. Any read me's or licenses in a dmg will most likely not be copied with the application.
If you would like me to host it for you drop me a line.

Thanks; I will.

That looks exactly like what I need for a different project; thanks for the link.

Thank you all for your help; appreciated as always.
