Triangle Normal Calculations
Hello all. I have been writing some planes and triangles equations for collision detection, and I was wondering if when calculating the normal of the triangle, do you have to make the normal a unit vector?
It depends on how you're using the normal. It's often convenient to normalize your normals, but your algorithm might not require it.
Yeah it seems my algorithms require it.
