The fact that UNIX underlies Mac OS X and the easy access to a shell through the terminal is in my opinion one of the most important things that make me favor the Mac. I recommend you make use of it, especially if you are unhappy with the GUI (which I am not). The terminal is leaps and bounds better than any Windows command prompt.

Bump Smile. Are there any atlas texture generators around? I.e. software which stacks multiple sprites into one texture and saves coordinates in a separate text/xml file?
