Are there any numbers on the percentage of users of each version of the iPhone/iPod Touch OS? Been searching through Google all morning but haven't found anything yet.

Out of my user base (80,000+)

66% 3g
19% Edge
7% 1st gen touch
8% 2nd gen touch

These numbers may not be the most accurate since a lot of my software appeals to iPhone owners as opposed to touch owners but it should give you a rough feel at least.

It kind of sounded like you wanted the firmware version that the user is currently on, I dont have statistics for this information. However you can not submit new software that will work on older firmwares anymore so its kind of a moot point.

Yea, that's what I meant. Which percentage was using 2.2 vs 2.1 and 2.0?

You can't submit apps that will run on 2.1 or 2.0 anymore? That would make the last few hours of getting this to work down to 2.0 a pretty big waste.
