I just threw out (sent to recycle, actually) several thousand dollars worth of old books I had accumulated over the last 20-30 years because I realized I hardly ever touch paper anymore. Besides, books aren't cave-dweller friendly because they don't have built-in backlights... yes I have a nice book light too 
Even though I'm not going to be able to participate in the contest, and as such do not have a preference in that regard, the times they are a changin' foe show.
