Any reason why my code signing provisioning profile would suddenly stop appearing in Xcode?

All my new projects wont let me use my profile... it doesn't appear in the drop down menu.

< ten minutes later>

Nevermind, I solved the problem.

Apparently the profile only appears when I have my iPhone connected. Hopefully someone can learn from this haha
