NDA gone for Reals
Upon logging into http://developer.apple.com/iphone you will be prompted to sign the new iPhone NDA.
They have also added a forum for NDA signers only to discuss programing on the iPhone

Awesome! So now what does it mean? We can talk to other people who signed the NDA? But only those people?

The agreement now only covers prerelease SDK software and documentation, etc. You can speak freely to anyone about any non-pre-release SDK items.
Ok, makes sense. I was just confused as to why the forum was for developers who signed the NDA. I guess that's to limit the possibility of a discussion of pre-release items with someone else.

Yeah, and it'd be a little pointless for people who don't have the SDK to be part of the discussion. It's a noise killer too, I guess. Now if only it would actually let ME in, I'd be happy. (I am in the program and it says I'm not.)
You can get the SDK without being a paid program member...
You have to sign the NDA to get the SDK.
The forums seem to actually be limited to people in the *program*, not people who simply have signed the NDA.

Precisely.
