Writting my first game - cave, need some help

Hi all,

this is my first post here as well as my first attempt in witting games.

i want to start up with a simple game like cave, where the player travel between the caves wall, and the objectives is to not crash on the walls.

i started implementing that with NSBezierPath and NSAffineTransform objects, and it went fine. just really ugly...

what is the next step? openGL?

is there any examples to get me started implementing such a game?
what will be the best framework to use?

i'm sure it's not that hard to draw walls, but for now i'm hopeless..
any tutorials/examples/sources will be great.
