Composer wanting to learn about writing for games
I am a composer for media and am very interested in learning about how to get involved in writing for games.
While I am looking for work, I really want some knowledge from those who have experience.
Composers, how did you get your first gig?
For someone like myself who has a lot of writing experience, but zero "writing for game" experience, what should I be looking for as a first project?
Thanks in advance.

Hey, check out IGDA writers chapter. I recommend subscribing to their mailing list, posting the same question, and you will be set! http://www.igda.org/writing/ Another best method, is you just basically did it. Keep hanging out on forums like this, full of indie gamedevers, and try to join a couple projects. Buildup your portfolio, and you should be set to go!
