I got street fighter 4 for the iPod touch, its pretty cool.

I hadn't owned a street fighter game since super street fighter 2 on the sega genesis in 1995 or so...

They rendered tons of bitmaps animations from the 3D models of the console versions, it looks good, but not pixel perfect, some ugly black points, and no antialiasing.

Not sure why they didn't put antialiasing on the bitmaps, maybe they wanted to give it a more 3D look (?), or maybe they used 1 bit alphas to save on memory.

Using virtual buttons ruins the experience a bit, still completely playable.

If I ever have the money to get a touch device I will probably give this a try. Although, I personally would have preferred true 2D sprites. Street Fighter 3 still has my favourite visuals of the entire series.
