I still follow the Torque scene (despite me not using any of it) since I own both TGE and TGB, and I downloaded the latest version (1.7.2) of Torque Game Builder (the 2D engine with the editor etc) and went through a tutorial on creating a breakout game. I didn't finish the entire thing (the tutorial itself isn't finished, but I also stopped before implementing multiple levels since it's late in the morning), and I must say the editor has come a long way. It's much nicer than it used to be and although I didn't use it a whole lot, I can see all the areas that were wacky before have been greatly enhanced.

Anyway, I recorded a time lapse of me doing the tutorial; Total time is 2 hours and 10 minutes compressed into an 11 minute movie.
