I never quite understood the deal with Twitter. I guess it's the same thing as what other think of Facebook and stuff...

I use Facebook for purely utilitarian reasons - organization and long-distance communication. It's great for those purposes because you don't have to remember aliases, and you can search within your school for people you know without having to ask them for their screen name or something.

I have to say, I really don't get twitter. Why not just have your own blog? Or use a chat client? To each their own I guess.
