jump preview

Im writing a game where your a frog and you jump around based on angle/power. Id like the frog's tongue to be a preview thingy that shows where your going to wind up after a jump.

Heres what I have so far:

Controls are
up = jump strength up
down = jump strength down
left = angle down
right = angle up
space = jump
r = reset
f = **** up everything
s = show/hide collision detection rectangles

I want the tongue to show the path the frog will take in total, or it might look crazy and ill get rid of it. But either way how should I go about this?

The machine does not run without the coin.

Oh I guess its really easy, I just shoot little circles that have no effect on gameplay. I was thinking about this in completely the wrong way.
