Newbie question regarding Resources folder

I've commonly used the fink libraries of SDL for compiling games on my Mac. Works great, but I have to run them from the command line, and so I got into my head that I should learn XCode and it should be easy enough to compile with that.

So I did. And you can read about my experiences here:

And if you do read about my experiences, you'll note that I use a hack to chdir ("MyNiftyGame.app/Contents/Resources/"), which is not pretty. If someone could tell me the proper way change into this directory without hardcoding the name I would appreciate it. Or perhaps point me to the document I clearly missed that tells me how to do it.

I learned the hack from "The Goonies" document on porting to OSX.

Thank you,

(PS Hope this is a good forum for this, I couldn't decide between this, "Porting Games", or "Tools and Technology" where everyone is talking about Xcode)
