GLSL (using CG compilation)

CG code I've had that was converted into GLSL produced the following:
dash1_pend_s3_r_0039.x = dot(pend_s3_glstate.pend_matrix.pend_mvp[0], dash1_pend_s3_v_0039);

the only thing is "pend_s3_glstate.pend_matrix.pend_mvp[0]" isn't defined anywhere -- there's an error stating this as well. does anybody know what this is supposed to be?
