OpenGL vs Quartz Performance for 2D Game
I'm designing a simple game that will involve mostly sprite manipulations on a 2D surface. I'm wondering if anyone here has any advice as to whether I should use Quartz or OpenGL for this type of game. I'm not planning to port it to another platform, so that isn't an issue for me.
Thanks,

OpenGL.
Quartz is slow, and (although people will argue with this) not dramatically easier.
