WoW & mutithreaded OpenGL
I just came across this:
WoW update adds multi-threaded OpenGL on Intel Macs
I know a lot of you are of the opinion that all OpenGL calls should be confined to one thread, so I'd like to know your thoughts on Blizzard's decision to spend time (and $$$) developing multithreaded OpenGL support. Was it a waste of time? Could the performance gains they've shown have been achieved without resorting to multithreaded OpenGL? What about the potential for hard-to-find bugs?

huh, maybe they will fix warcraft 3 so it even _runs_ on intel soon.
Sir, e^iπ + 1 = 0, hence God exists; reply!
Okay, I found some more info...
http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn2006/tn2085.html
So it looks like they weren't talking about making OpenGL calls from several different threads.

Thanks OSC!
After applying the update, it didn't seem to make any perceptible difference on my MacBook Pro.
