Hi everyone, im new here as you can tell, im a hobbist game designer currently using a very User Friendly FPS Engine Called Silent Walk!

Its not exactly the best engine out there as far as graphics go, but its easy to use. . .they start you off with a default set of objects, which you can modify or even create new objects w/textures including animated objects to import into the engine. its a work-in-progress, faily new and has great potential. . .

check it out http://www.percsich.hu/silentwalk/index.php?page=home

Paterson!? Howdy, neighbor!

Does this run on Macs?

"Yes, well, that's the sort of blinkered, Philistine pig-ignorance I've come to expect from you non-creative garbage."

I downloaded the program ( there is no option for OS specific downloads ) - and when I unzipped the file, it was in exe format. So, I'm guessing this is only for windows? Looks pretty interesting, though I have no interest in making a FPS anyway.

Unless you're looking to kill some time, I would avoid looking at "SilentWalk" (for those of you with PCs anyway) because honestly, it seems like it's just an advanced level editor. Don't experiment with this unless you're strictly playing with the idea of designing (keyword: designing, not making). Otherwise, your time is much better spent improving your skills that aid in making games (like programming or graphics design).
