Everytime I import/export, the app locks up and gives me a python script error.

Is there a fixable reason?

Also, 2.4 doesn't work, only 2.3.

What's the error?
It's probably a typo in the py script or it's an old script with a new blender. I know Blender has issues with scripts becuase the documentation is never up-to-date, and they are constantly tweaking the Blender python library.

It's too much effort to work with. Are there any other free apps that can import 3ds and export OBJ/Lightwave?
