2D Space Partition - BSP?

Hello Everyone!!!

I have a few images from up viewer of a build...and wanna do a space partition to have cells and portals (for navigation)...
BSP is a good way?
Anyone nows a sample 2D BSP code (in c++ opengl) to do this?

It would probably be best to actually learn how a bsp tree works and code it yourself so you can take maximum advantage of using a bsp, one website I think explains it well is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_space_partitioning

This is the "deal"!!!
2D Image partition in convex regions (image processing perphaps!!!).... any algoritm for this?
