Hiding the Cursor in Carbon?
No, this is not what you think. I realise there is a function aptly named HideCursor(). But, as of 10.4, this function is deprecated. I spent half a day or so trying to find a replacement, to no avail. I assume it is to be found somewhere in the HIToolbox, but I couldn't find it. Any hints?
Of course, here I am, 10 minutes later and wiser. CGDisplayHideCursor() does the trick, though it hides the cursor only on one display. If you have a windowed app where you wanna hide the cursor, you need to make sure to hide it on the right display.
