Another way to display Unicode text

Hi all !! 
I would like to display Unicode text on the screen using SDL, I found the solution with SDL_TTF, but SDL_TTF can not run on the Symbian OS. So, please, if someone knew another way except for SDL_TTF, please explain to me.
