I find it surprising that none of you use Quicksilver
It's made my OS at least 50% more effective. I'm so hooked - I wish I could get rid of the spotlight icon.

Well, if everybody else is inlaying their backgrounds and messing up the screen width, I guess I better add mine to the crop.

That's one of the pictures I made with my fractal drawing program. I cycle through 11 of them every half hour. All those pictures (in 1024x768 and 1680x1050) and the program can be found on my website here. [/shameless self-promoting]

I, too, feel the need to have as empty of a desktop as possible. I only have things there that are of any urgency. Being that school is over in a week and a half and I still have 8 unfinished assignments for my Java class, that made the cut 
. I also always have iTunes available in one form or another.

I find it surprising that all of us have Tiger!
Don't tell nobody but I've run Panther only non-source available programs on my Jaguar... (and have had to initialize my computer once because of that)
