Danlab old stuff for free
You know, that's not a horrible idea. Instead of waiting and waiting and waiting for a wiki and an assets section, maybe we *should* put up a site to contain them. http://www.macgamedeveloper.com/ isn't taken. Anyone?
i started to make this one, but i dont have a lot of time to continue for now...

Wow, that's gorgeous, Dan! Any way we can make that website an OSS project while retaining the page look? i.e. avoiding the "whole page is a wiki" syndrome?
Dan: would you be interested in opening up that site for us to develop as a resource?

no problemo
Where do we start? Is it possible to maintain a website using subversion? That is, the core code. Or perhaps the whole thing should simply be a wiki?
i don't think it should be like a wiki or like cocoadev.com. thats me personally. i think a group of organizers can review/accept submissions from everyone else to keep things, well, organized. but i definitely think everyone should CONTRIBUTE.
oh, and dan, that site looks amazing
cool name + cool site

i totally agree
A good thing would be a place to submit code, and people can make annotations and corrections. Ive got a bunch of useful code that could go there and im sure many other people do.

Agreed. I got this killer "Hello World". So where do we all go from here?
Ive been working on a hello world for the last few years, hopefully looking at maaaaaaarks source code will help be iron out some of the bugs in my code.

Well I'm a bit clueless as to how you could do this without the use of a wiki. Honestly, doesn't that seem like the best approach in this situation?
someone just set up a wiki then!
