OMG Entries Progress
Since it seems like everyone else is making developer logs, I went and put one up as well using LiveJournal: http://www.livejournal.com/users/malarkeysw/

Kubrick is so nice, isn't it.
Might want to change "iDevGames Forums" to simply "iDevGames"
Anyways, VERY good blog/site.
Cheers,

Ya, I've been meaning to change that template for some time now.

Good catch. When I added that link, that's all there was here. It's now fixed.

I actually am not entering at all, in fact.

It sure was tempting though...

You wont believe it but... I'm runnning this time!
Got a physics based platform on the way! Of course minimalist graphics (only balls and rectancles, probably going to be in greyscale
), but it's up and running! Got the editor and game going, just got to design the levels (and of course fix the tons of bug I never suspected to find in my physics engine)

Well I love Ikaruga so I wanted to make somthing similar, but I dont rule like treasure...
You can fly about and the ship tilts, and theres a picking matrix sort of thing for the bullets, the graphics engine (and bullets) is c and most of the other stuff is lua. Its going really really slowly because Im only making tiny changes to it and kinda dont know where to go next.
some suggestions would be nice, because I am quite close to giving up

It's nearly impossible to tell without seeing how the game plays. Can you post a binary somewhere?
You need SDL and SDL_image because I cant package them with the binary yet, sorry.
If anyone know how please tell me

I just upgraded to Tiger; terrible idea. It messed up a fair bit of my code. It's hard to make up lost time like that in a month.5 long contest.
