Display - what's your profile?
I never really cared about Color Management and Display Profiles... until I saw my video game graphics on someone else's display. The colors were too bright. I want to correct this problem, I want to adjust my display. But they are so many Display Profiles to choose from... which one do you use?

Usually the one that's specifically for my monitor. I don't do any graphics work so I've never seen any reason to change it.

The profile for my monitor was too dark, I made a custom one (you can make as many as you want and then check them one after another to see which one looks better).

The point of those profiles is that you use the right one. By calibrating your monitor, you're compensating for manufacturing tolerances, phosphor type, age, etc, and theoretically see colors and images after calibration as they were meant to be seen.
