drawtext in blitzmax

I've almost finished my ragdoll editor with blitzmax, and I realized that "drawtext" on the mac really sucks if you are using small size font. Anyone know how to fix it?

You can load up a font file at a larger size. The command to look at is LoadBitmapFont I think.

You could load a texture in with the fonts inside it and slice it up using texture coords.
If you wanted to do this with non fixed width fonts the easiest way to make the texture would be with GlyphTool Rolleyes
