the pdf file was corrupt for me. Most of the texts was just blocks. I could view the pictures and what I mad up out of it was that it's all fairly basic.

Yes It is corrupt for me as well. All the text characters were either N or a box. The pictures show up fine on mine but I can't read anything. Very peculiar.

It renders beautifully for me with Acrobat Reader 7. Dunno what to tell you two.

Yeah, sometimes I get a PDF that Preview will render text as blocks and Acrobat Reader will be just fine with. Is this some text encoding issue?

Not sure. And my built in Acrobat Reader 5 won't even show anything for it. I tried getting Reader 7 but, running their download manager, it said the file was corrupt. I don't know where this file is, but I can't get the manager to download another.

It would appear that whatever problem it was is fixed with Tiger's PDF engine. w00t! Even my old IA32 assembly notes work!
