Hi, im doing a project that involves making a simple arcade style game. I will have until early may to complete the game.

My problem is that im not very good at coming up with ideas

If anyone had a simple fun idea for a game and are either too busy or dont know how to programme and while be happy for me to produce I would really like to hear from you.

What are the limitations of the project? I would've thought that "arcade games" is rather too broad a term...

Play more games. Seriously.

If you're looking for specific ideas, some arcade games I've played recently that I enjoy include the latest Metal Slug, Mr. Driller, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and any game involving spaceships, dramatic fatalities, lasers that take up half the screen, exploding body parts, and/or 5000 bullets on-screen at once.

Some more details about the project would help us think of ideas for you.

I just got out some old Apogee games recently. Crystal Caves, Secret Agent, Commander Keen. Man, those were fun... for a little while at least.

Apogee made a metric poop ton of games that I played on my Tandy 1000. Those where the days. The aren't really arcade games, but if you're stuck maybe take a look at some of those old games. I'd love a remake of a few of them.
