does anyone know where a good apple tiff/png type more than 400 X 400 pixels?

Hey Taxxodium, did you apply some sort of filter or used a plug-in to create the aqua look? The Photoshop tutorials I found on the web are really lame, the results don't come close to yours.

I used the standard filters when you double click on a layer. To be more precise I used: Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Outer Glow, Bevel and Emboss, Contour and Color Overlay.
Just play around with the settings, make sure your angle is 90° and don't use global light. Also the transparancy is done by playing with the Blending Options.
