"Die Siedler von Catan" is certainly not about luck... how else could I win 60% of the games I play? Yeah, you can have a bad run, some statistically unlikely rolls of the die, but there's far more strategy in it than luck.

Yeah, you sure win 60% of the time if opponents are playing random, I just don't understand exactly how much you can get good at it e.g. if you play at it 20 times, you know everything about it or you can still learn.

In other words, how much time would I need to get as strong as the world champion?
