aglContext attributes problem

First off, if there's any way to utilize Apple's OS OpenGL extension more effectively or "modernly" than AGL, please say so. Wrappers do not count.

Could someone pleas explain to me why including the aglContext attribute "AGL_ACCELERATED" causes problems to occur on my iMac/333 under OS 10.1.5 with the recent ATI drivers? I have a test that aborts the program if the context pointer evaluates to zero, and, well...

What isn't working?

If you're using Cocoa, you can use NSOpenGLPixelFormat/Context/View; if you're using Mac OS X and full-screen only, you can use CGL. Otherwise, AGL is all that's on offer.

Can't help you with the bug, though, sorry.
