Barnyard Blaster Beta
I'm almost finished with my new game Barnyard Blaster. Gameplay inspired from the former uDG entry Maffia. This is my first project since I decided to go full-time with Mac/iOS game development. The graphics look much better now compared to my old games since my friend took over the 3d modeling and UI
Below is the download link (mac os 10.5+ version), product page, and screenshot from two weeks ago (old placeholder UI). I would love some feedback on the game. The download shareware version has three short levels, though I can send you a serial number for the full version if you request it.
Thanks in advance for any advice, I hope you enjoy it. This is ready for the Mac, iPhone, and iPad, so I hope to submit/release sometime within the next week.

Now I'm not sure if it works on PPC machines, I can't get it to launch in rosetta due to an OpenAL error loading sounds.

Yep, it works now (Intel 32 bits). Something you may want to check is what happens when you close the window, right now the app doesn't exit (the music keeps playing in the background) but there is no way to get the window back. Perhaps you could simply quit the app in that case? Also, it lets you close the window in the middle of a game, there should probably be a confirmation dialog when a game is in progress.

Since I happened to have a PPC lying around here, I can confirm that it crashes on launch. On my 32-bit intel, seems to work fine though. I also noticed that closing the window doesn't quit the game.
Seeing that I have played Maffia, I found it surprising that the animals were 3D
. I think I focussed more on killing them rather than juggling. Some take a while to kill with weak weapons.
Thanks guys, I'll have to figure out this PPC thing before I release the shareware version. Good catch on the window closing, it was a simple as adding a applicationShouldTerminateAfterLastWindowClosed method to my delegate.
Yeah the game is definitely based on controlling the hordes of animals more than juggling. The first few levels you can make lots of money juggling, then at the end it's all about making sure nothing gets by.

Good news, Barnyard Blaster has been released as shareware and on the Mac App Store. Still working on getting it approved for the iOS. If anyone wants a promo code for the MAS send me an email, I got a few extras
