Speaking of loading png's, have anyone here tried pnglite? It is a smaller replacement for libpng, which I found a whole lot easier to work with in several ways. So far I don't see any drawback with it, only advantages. But your milage may vary; it would be interesting to hear if anyone has a different opinion.
